On Thursday 21 April 2022, Liberia's Health Ministry declared measles outbreak which is affecting 14 of the 15 counties in the country. According to the Liberian Government the outbreak is a result of low immunization rates, due to disruption of immunization activities for COVID19 and people's misconception on immunizations.
