As of 5 October, there have been more than 5,000 cases with 178 associated deaths across 13 local government areas (LGAs) in Borno State, in the conflict affected Northeast Nigeria.
The areas of Dikwa, Bama, Jere and Konduga, where there is a high concentration of displaced people by the conflict, have registered 2,500 cholera cases and more than 116 deaths.
