Heavy rainfall and strong winds hit parts of Indonesia (particularly Bali Island and the Central Java Province, central Indonesia) over the past few days, causing floods, triggering lanslides and resulting in casualties and damage.
According to the National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB), three people died, and three others have been injured following a landslide in Gunaksa Village (Bangli Regency, central Bali). Another landlide occurred in Taro Village (Gianyar Regency, southern Bali), where one person died. Furthermore, one person died due to a flood event occurred in Denpasar City area (southern Bali).
On 10-11 October, light to moderate rain with localized thunderstorms is forecast over the affected areas.
