Following the 6.4 M earthquake that occurred on 3 November and affected Jajarkot and Rukum Districts of Karnali Province in southern Nepal, the number of fatalities and damage is increasing.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), as of 5 November, at least 157 people have been killed and 256 injured. 6,150 families were reported displaced following the destruction of their houses.
The search and rescue operations are almost completed.
