Heavy rain caused flash floods and mudflows in Darg and Kazdon villages in Tajikistan's Ayni District on 11 July. The event damaged homes, farm land, water and irrigation networks, electricity infrastructure, village roads and private property, interrupting essential services and livelihoods. An official assessment cited by IFRC counted 672 affected households in the two villages.
