West Bank emergency: displacement, violence and access restrictions intensify

Situation
Humanitarian needs across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, continued to be driven by military operations, settler violence, demolitions and movement restrictions. OCHA reported that a two-day operation in Qalandiya Camp injured 51 Palestinians and temporarily displaced six households. Across the 4–10 August reporting period, 89 Palestinians were injured, 25 structures were demolished and 29 people, including 17 children, were displaced. Health access also deteriorated: WHO recorded 98 attacks affecting health care from January through July 2026. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) expanded its Hebron response from five to eight mobile clinics and reported 7,595 outpatient consultations, including 1,910 sexual and reproductive health consultations, between January and July. MSF also provided 1,930 individual mental-health consultations, conducted 436 group therapy sessions and carried out 27 rapid responses after receiving nearly 170 incident alerts. The figures below retain each organisation's reporting period and do not combine them with Gaza totals.
