Floods and severe weather across Italy crossed the monitoring threshold after GDACS event FL 1104053 reported a national aggregate of one death and 858 displaced people across multiple episodes from 26 July to 20 September 2026. That aggregate is not a denominator for one single incident. At event scope, a woman died after her car became trapped in a flooded underpass at Latisana on 10 September, while 45 people were evacuated from red-zone homes in Cataeggio after the monitored Scaiun landslide released debris above the settlement.
