Updated verified snapshot

Situation

Two separate vehicle-swept incidents were reported in Comayagua department during September flooding. In Meámbar, Honduras Fire Department officials reported three deaths after a vehicle was swept away while attempting to cross the swollen La Hacienda river on 20 September. In a separate Esquías incident, firefighters recovered the body of Nixon Romero on 25 September, approximately 20 kilometres downstream from where the current had swept his vehicle. WorldsAid retains the two incidents as separate dated observations and does not merge their casualty scopes into a single event total.
