
Since 1 June, floods caused by heavy rainfall have been affecting Hunan Province (central China), leading to casualties.
According to the official Chinese news agency (Xinhua), ten people have died, and three others are missing. More than 2,700 houses have been destroyed or severely damaged, and around 286,000 people have been evacuated across the Province.
On 9-11 June, light to moderate rainfall is forecast over central and southern Hunan Province.
